The Night Dragon

The Young Persons Substance Misuse Team supports young people who experience problems with drugs and alcohol. They offer one to one support alongside prevention and education work. Drug and alcohol education takes place in schools, youth clubs, pubs, clubs and out on the streets. Our street based work utilises the new outreach bus, th Night Dragon, a brand new vehicle bought by the Welsh Assembly.

On the bus there are various activities and resources that young people can use creatively whilst learning about the dangers of drugs and alcohol. We have turntables, video making equipment, iPod docking stations, computers and DVD player with plasma screen. We also have access to up to date current information through leaflets and posters as well as educational games and DVD’s.
