Young Flintshire

Finding out the needs of young Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered and Questioning (LGBTQ) young people in Flintshire.

Flintshire Citizen’s Advice Bureau, on behalf of Flintshire Young People Partnership (YPP), have carried out research to find out the needs of the local young LGBTQ community.

The research had four main aims:
• Investigate whether young people, who are LGBTQ, appear to face any issues within the County and what they feel is needed locally to support them.
• Find out what already exists within Flintshire.
• Find out what other counties are doing and how it is having an impact on young LGBTQ young people.
• Look into what resources and information is available on selected websites.

The full report is now available to download by clicking here.

The Young People’s Partnership and others will be looking at how to take this work forward, but are also asking others to let them know of any developments, projects or actions that impact on this group of young people since, or as a result of this research being done.
