Environment
If you care about the environment where you live and would like to get involved in protecting it there are some local action groups in Flintshire that you can join.
Wildlife
The North Wales Wildlife Trust work to protect wildlife in Flintshire and do a lot of work at Loggerheads Country Park near Mold. You can join them as a volunteer to help them with their work, go to some of their local events or become a member of their wildlife club. Environment
Flintshire Friends of the Earth aim to raise awareness of environmental issues in Flintshire. If you would like more information about how you can get involved and help them with their work you can call them on 01352 710714.
Litter & Recycling
If there is litter or dumped waste in the area that you live and you would like to get it cleaned up then you can speak to somebody at Environmental Services in Flintshire County Council. They are responsible for:
* Abandoned vehicles
* Waste collection
* Removing dead animals on the road
* Dustbins
* Clearing fly tipping
* Recycling sites & recycling schemes
