Caring for People, Caring for Money Project

“Young/Young Adult Carers and Parent Carers between 16 and 24 years are invited to learn about Money Matters”

The project aims to work with between 40-50 young/young adult carers aged 16 to 24, through the provision of four free three day training courses times. The project will use innovative ways to disseminate information and advice, including drama, art, music, dance, poetry and prose. Participants of the courses will learn about money management skills, banking, credit, debt, where to get help in a crisis, how to budget, and how to save on fuel bills etc.

The first course will take place on the 28th, 29th and 30th October at Barnardo’s premises, Mold Rd, Buckley, between 10 am and 3pm each day. A Crèche will be provided, help with transport is available and refreshments guaranteed.
