You are entitled to training in basic skills to open doors to a better future for you.

Being able to read and write well makes living and working in today's world a lot easier, but if you find maths, reading or writing hard then don't worry because you are not alone and there are lots of places where you can go to catch up with your 'basic skills'.

Deeside College run Second Chance courses that can help you to improve your basic skills. They can teach you how to:

* Improve your reading, writing and spelling.
* Improve your letter writing and form filling skills.
* Improve your everyday maths - money, addition, subtraction, fractions, percentages, decimals.
* Fill in job application forms and make a C.V.
* Brush up your skills to help your children with their homework.
* Improve your job prospects.
